Self-Portrait

Typographic, Poster, Information Design

The purpose of this project was to create an abstract self-portrait of ourselves through the organization of information. We created lists about ourselves using the LATCH (Location, Alphabet, Time, Category, Hierarchy). I used these lists and combined them with typography and images to develop multiple layers of information.

In this work, I represented a period of time in which many things in my life "broke" and how it affected my emotions. I also wanted to show what I learned from these events. This list incorporates time and hierarchy as organizational elements. I strived to create layers of information that are revealed depending on the distance the work is viewed from.
